Solumen was founded in 2015 as an OEM that designed and manufactured MPPT and PWM charge controllers for solar panels. Our designs specialized in protection against extreme environments, corrosion, lightning surges and harsh operating temperatures (common to remote PV systems)—all while delivering above industry average operating life. As the market for solar evolved, we began working closely with customers to develop a wider-range of products , voltages, and monitoring solutions for controllers and inverters. In 2018 we licensed our design to our leading customer and transitioned towards expanding our design portfolio to include voltage monitors and handheld power chargers. Since 2018 we have used our unique design and product life-cycle expertise to become the partner of choice to customers across a wide-range of end-uses in both the industrial and consumer end-markets.
As a former OEM we have lived through the issues of bringing a product to life. Our mission is to simplify a complex process, build a resilient and actionable design that is cost-effective and managed to proactively avoid device build and management issues. We have a proven track record of customer success and adherence to the highest standards of quality and service.
